Paolo Formaglio
President & CEO

Paolo Formaglio was appointed Chief Executive Officer by Team Capital's Board of Directors in November, 2005. He brings a wealth of experience at the highest level with more than 18 years of senior finance and operations experience within some of the top tier management consulting firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young.

Most recently, Formaglio was Founder and Vice President of a consulting firm providing audit and business advisory services to plcs and private companies. Formaglio was previously a Senior Adviser with Ernst & Young where he specialized in financial and fiscal due diligence.

During the nineties Formaglio operated at Senior Management level with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. He previously served on the board of Team Capital.

Formaglio’s focus is to drive growth with innovation, ensuring unrivalled sector specific service propositions and consistency across regions.

Formaglio is fluent in English and Italian.


David Pierce Hallahan
International Practice Director

As a founding member of Team Capital’s International Practice, David Pierce Hallahan has conducted searches at the CEO, VP and Managing Director levels for major corporate clients, emerging companies and the investment community. Additionally, he has led high profile searches for chairmen and non-executive board members.

Renowned for his expertise in the representation of top management, Hallahan is continuing to develop Team Capital globally as an adviser of choice for top companies seeking counsel on their talent and leadership in EMEA, APAC, North America and Latin America.

Most recently, from 2001 to 2005, Hallahan was founder and Senior Vice President of ASE (acquired by Team Capital), an international Talent Management firm, operating across technology and industrial markets

Previously, Hallahan was a senior consultant to public and private companies focused on executive strategy and leadership requirements around the globe.

Hallahan is fluent in English and French and is a qualified practitioner in Behavioural and Emotional Intelligence. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Consulting and French from Aston University, ranked among the top business schools in Europe.


Alex James Barron
VP Corporate Development

Alex James Barron is responsible for all corporate development and Strategic Alliances within Team Capital. Barron has extensive experience operating in first class organizations such as Goldman Sachs Investment bank in London and Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading global financial services provider.

Most recently, Barron headed up the funding operation division within Goldman Sachs in London. As part of the day to day funding requirements he has been responsible for the funding of structured deals, new issues and initial public offerings.

Barron played a key role managing the firm’s liquidity requirements within the Treasury Operations Division and even more recently he operated as Senior Adviser in foreign exchange where he has been responsible for liquidity risk management. Barron has built a vast network of banks and broker dealers.

He was previously based in Sydney, Australia where he worked for Capital Finance.

   
Amr Shaker
SVP, Operations

Amr Shaker has extensive senior operations experience within global organisations which include Orange, Equant and Sita. His particular focus has been building and managing operations across a multitude of disciplines which include Sales, Maintenance, Network Support, Training and Coaching.   

Most recently, Shaker was a Senior Manager at Equant, which operates the world’s largest global data network exclusively serving multinational companies. He has created and maintained partnerships with telecomms operators, integrators and outsourcing organizations across Asia, Europe and North America. Before Equant, Shaker worked with Kast Telecom and Sita.

Shaker tutors both pre and post-graduates around information systems and Business Organisations. He has received numerous corporate awards for his contribution to operational support around the globe.

Shaker speaks fluent English, French, Arabic and has a working knowledge of Italian.
